LABPOP

The Peace Operations Research Laboratory (LabPOP), based within the Postgraduate Programme in Military Sciences at the Meira Mattos Institute (PPGCM-IMM), part of the Army Command and General Staff College (ECEME), was inaugurated in March 2023. Its primary objective is to promote debates, reflections, and new insights that contribute to the understanding of United Nations peacekeeping operations, as well as to Brazil's engagement within this multilateral agenda.

This research group focuses on studying international peace and security mechanisms established by the United Nations (UN), specifically peacekeeping operations, which involve the participation of various countries, including Brazil.
