GEÁFRICA

The African Studies Research Group (GEÁFRICA) at the Federal University of Pampa (UNIPAMPA) emerged in November 2013 from the need to institutionalise research on a wide range of themes concerning the African continent. This research was already taking place within projects and courses of the International Relations degree at the Santana do Livramento campus. The research conducted within the group aims to expand academic output on Africa, deepening knowledge about the continent while working in conjunction with the Brazilian Centre for African Studies (CEBRAFRICA/UFRGS), a benchmark centre for research on the subject.
