Postgraduate Programme in International Relations (PPGRI/UFSM)

The PPGRI/UFSM is the primary proponent of this project, standing out for bringing together the largest number of permanent faculty members dedicated to research on Security and Defence in the African continent, with extensive experience in fieldwork and human resources training in the field. The programme features a research line focused on "Security, Strategy, and Defence", coordinated by the Research Group on State Capacity, Security, and Defence (GECAP/UFSM) and the African Studies Research Group (GEÁFRICA/UNIPAMPA). It serves as the main bridge connecting the national and international institutions involved in the project, while representing the expansion of the National Postgraduate System into the country’s inland regions.
